FAQ
How much money is the grant worth?
Each school can qualify for a $1,000 grant each year to help protect its website against hackers.
What are our chances of receiving the grant next year if we receive the grant this year?
Winning schools automatically qualify for a $1,000 grant the following year if they consistently pass their security scan and display the Trust Guard seal in a prominent location on its website. However, Trust Guard reserves the right to discontinue the $1,000 grant program at any time.
What happens if the school accepts the grant?
Trust Guard will promote the school as a winner on this website and through its social channels as an entity that cares about cyber security.
School will be sent an electronic 8”x10” certificate stating the fact that the school has won the $1,000 grant to improve their cyber security.
School will be part of Trust Guard’s monthly press release promoting the schools that were awarded the grant that month.
The school will then pay Trust Guard the remaining $764 for a full year of the daily scanning and trust seal services.
Trust Guard will then provide the website administrator with a control panel to begin the scanning process and display the trust seal on your website.
After we complete the application, including the paragraph as to why your school should be selected, when will we know if we will receive the grant?
Please allow two weeks after completing your application for the announcement as to whether or not your school was accepted for the grant. If you still haven’t heard from Trust Guard after two weeks, please contact us at support@trust-guard.com.
How can I apply for the grant?
Simply fill out the application form completely on this page. Be sure to take some time to consider why your school should be selected, as your response could be shared with others and could be the determining factor as to why your school is selected as a winner.
